The Department of Highways is holding a Market Sounding for Bang Khun Thian – Ban Phaeo Motorway M82 Project, Public-Private Partnership for Operation and Maintenance (O&M), in accordance with the Announcement of the PPP Policy Commission Regarding Criteria and
Methods for Public Hearings from the Private Sector, B.E. 2563 (2020), through 2 following channels:

1. Information System – At www.doh.go.th and www.doh-motormotorway.com
   websites

• Information Dissemination: January 15 to February 6, 2024
• Online Questionnaire: January 31 to February 6, 2024

2. Market Sounding Seminar

• Information Dissemination and Market Sounding Seminar: Wednesday January 31, 2024, from 08:30 am. to 12:00 pm., at Phayathai 3-4 Room, 6 th Floor, Eastin Grand Hotel Phayathai, Bangkok

Objectives

• To provide investors with essential project information
• To evaluate private parties’ interest and build confidence among them in PPP participation
• To obtain ideas/comments from investors and stakeholders for preparation of the Draft Invitation to Bid, Draft RFP and Draft PPP Contract
• To disseminate information to the public and target groups, through various types of media, to rapidly and thoroughly create project awareness and understanding among them

Target Groups

• Public Sector, Associations and Organizations Concerned 
• Private Sector, Construction Contractors, System Houses, Toll Road Operator
• Financial Institutions 
• Thai Chamber of Commerce and Foreign Chamber of Commerce in Thailand 
• Foreign Embassies in Thailand
• Mass Media

 Expected Outcome

• Useful information received from the private sector for preparation of the Draft Invitation to Bid, Draft RFP and Draft PPP Contract
• Perception of the private parties’ levels of interest in Public-Private Partnership for O&M 
• Awareness of the project information among interested private parties so that they can be prepared for proposals submission
